I've noticed a couple of Blogs for HK music, but they tend to love the canto-pop . (Hey each to their own) So I decided to start this blog for three reasons. 1. Feature local bands/gigs I like 2. Just wondering if you guys would know the best way to use the internet in HK or China in general to promote original songs. I am a new composer/musician creating pop/melodic songs in English and just wanted to showcase my work which can be found at:

My guess would just be to go and visit other HK band myspace's and add them as your friend.
If you are looking to play shows you can speak to the various promoters.
One of the better ones is the UNDERGROUND hk
